Now the seventh biggest wine producer in the world, South Africa is best known for Chenin Blancs, Sauvignon Blancs, Shiraz, and most importantly, for her native grape, Pinotage. Next stop in this series: South America! Explore offerings from some of the world’s most up-and-coming viticultural regions: Chile and Argentina. For the final installment of our Southern Hemisphere series we will check out the Dynamic Duo of Australia and New Zealand. The Aussies and the Kiwis make a wide variety of wines from the refreshing Sauvignon Blancs of New Zealand to the massive Shiraz of Australia.
